Understanding the need…

The need for pastoral training worldwide is significant. According to a well-established research institution (www.globalpastortraining.org), only about 5% of all Christian Pastors globally have formal theological training. It’s estimated that approximately 95% of Pastors worldwide have little to no theological training , with 90% of churches worldwide led by individuals without formal training or systematic informal training. What training have most received? Research shows about 80% of the trained Pastors were only trained for 3-4 days. These statistics underscore a considerable global need for pastoral education and support.

Biblical training is considered essential for several reasons:

  • Sound Doctrine: Proper training helps pastors to understand and interpret the Bible accurately, ensuring that they teach sound doctrine to their congregations.

  • Effective Ministry: Trained pastors are better equipped to address the spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of their communities effectively.

  • Leadership Development: Training provides pastors with the leadership skills necessary to lead a congregation and to train others to take on leadership roles.

  • Spiritual Growth: In-depth biblical knowledge can foster spiritual growth both in the pastor and in the congregation, leading to a more mature faith.

  • Cultural Engagement: Pastors with a strong biblical foundation can more effectively engage with and respond to cultural issues and ethical dilemmas.

  • Church Health: Churches led by trained pastors are often healthier in terms of discipleship, evangelism, and community impact.

  • Preventing Heresy: Without proper training, pastors might inadvertently propagate heresies or fall into theological errors, leading people astray.

  • Mission and Evangelism: Biblical training empowers pastors to carry out the Great Commission—spreading the Christian faith and discipling believers.

  • Counseling and Care: Trained pastors are better prepared to provide counseling and care to those facing life’s challenges.

In summary, Biblical training supports the integrity and effectiveness of pastoral ministry, which is foundational for the health and growth of the church.

Ephesians 4:11-13 (NIV) “11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

Pastor Training (Step 1)

We love serving Pastors. In our initial contact we desire to get to know them more personally, then we can access their personal and leadership needs through conversations and written assessments.

We custom tailor a program to help develop them to be what God has called them to do. We offer many courses that will train, develop, help, and encourage a Pastor to fulfill their God given call.

Church Leadership Training (Step 2)

Working closely with Pastors we connect to their core leadership. Through assessments and training we help development Ministry Leaders who help the Pastor equip the Church for ministry outside of the Church building.

We have many Ministry Partners who work within the our Network to best meet local church needs.

Mobilizing Churches (Step 3)

Every person in the Church has a God given responsibility to reveal God and the hope found in Christ. We help mobilize and break down barriers that connect the Church to their communities. Friends, a Church on Mission changes a community.

We train, develop and mobilize the Church members to be on mission through outreach events and various ministries.

Discover the heart
of our mission

In 1997 we met. Better said… in November 1997 God brought us together, connected our hearts, and set us on a mission to equip Pastors, train Churches and evangelize. Truly great fiends and co-laborers for Christ we have committed our lives for service to God and to train, equip, encourage, and mobilize Churches to live in and live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
